Jeremy was a much-loved son, brother, uncle and friend who brought so much love, laughter and joy into the lives of those who knew him.
Known as our gentle giant and big cuddly bear, Jeremy had the most beautiful heart. He loved hugs, cuddles, music and dancing, and had a wonderful way of making us smile with his cheeky personality and the little things that made him uniquely Jeremy. His love for Michael Jackson, Elvis and the music of the ’80s and ’90s was unmistakable, and whenever the music played, you could often find him dancing beside the speaker.
Jeremy was non-verbal, but he taught us one of life's most beautiful lessons: love doesn't need words. He expressed his love through his smiles, his hugs, holding our hands and simply being close to the people he loved. His innocence, gentle nature and beautiful spirit touched our hearts in ways words could never fully describe.
Sadly, Jeremy lost his life to colorectal cancer. While our hearts are broken by his loss, we want his memory to live on in a way that can help other families facing the devastating impact of cancer.
In honour of Jeremy, we invite family and friends to make a donation to Cancer Council. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will help support cancer research, prevention and services for people and families affected by cancer.
By donating in Jeremy's memory, you are helping us turn our heartbreak into hope for others, so that fewer families have to experience the pain of losing someone they love to cancer.
Jeremy will forever be our gentle giant, our big cuddly bear, and a much-loved part of our family. He may no longer be by our side, but he will live on in our hearts, in our memories, and in every song that makes us think of him.
